At Eni, we are looking for a Junior Buyer within Plenitude Renewables in Madrid, Spain. You will be responsible for supporting the initiatives, analysis, and essential processes of the category, managing relationships with suppliers within the renewable industry in Spain and France.

About Plenitude Renewables

Plenitude is an energy benefit company that integrates the retail business and renewable generation with self-consumption and electric mobility solutions, providing electricity and gas to more than 10 million homes and businesses across Europe. This membership represents a major European project integrating the renewables business with the retail business, which will allow us to progressively increase our offer of services, infrastructures, and green energy for our customers, providing our team with greater professional projection and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Active supplier management: identification of new suppliers and analysis of services and market information.
  • Managing the incorporation of suppliers and keeping the supplier information database up to date.
  • Monitoring and managing supplier performance and quality.
  • Assisting in procurement activities, such as sourcing and purchasing, using company and other databases.
  • Carrying out all compliance tasks required by procurement procedures.
  • Checking procurement requests, and evaluating them.
Qualifications
  • Preferred qualifications: bachelor’s degree in business administration or economics.
  • Experience, preferably in purchasing / business administration or supply chain, ideally in international companies.
  • Beginner to intermediate-level negotiation skills.
  • Bid evaluation / alignment.
  • Counterparty risk assessment (Due Diligence).
  • Basic knowledge of supplier management and market counting process.
  • Demonstrated performance in working with various departments and functions.
  • Experience in building strong working relationships with existing and new suppliers.
  • Technology savviness; we are digitising this industry and need to be at the forefront.
  • Languages: English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Italian or French would be an asset.
