A leading tech recruitment firm is seeking a Java Developer to work in Malaga, Spain. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of backend experience and strong skills in Java and Spring Boot. You will design and maintain scalable services while managing deployments on AWS and Kubernetes. This position offers a competitive salary of €50,000 - €70,000, a generous holiday allowance, and opportunities for progression. Onsite work is required for the first 6 months with hybrid options available afterward.

Formación

• 5+ years of practical backend experience (Mid-level or Senior).
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid SQL skills required.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud deployment.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience mandatory.

Overview

Are you a Java Developer based in Malaga, Spain?

Our client are an award-winning iGaming platform provider based in Sweden who are setting up a new office in Malaga. This is your chance to join their new team at an early stage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in Java with Spring Boot.
• Build and optimise RESTful APIs.
• Manage deployments on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Design and maintain CI / CD pipelines.
• Integrate asynchronous communication via queueing systems.
• Work closely with the Product Owner (PO) and frontend team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical backend experience (Mid-level or Senior).
• Primary skills in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid SQL.
• Experience of microservices architecture.
• Experience with AWS.
• Docker, Kubernetes and CI / CD pipeline experience.
• Fluency in English.
