The opportunity

Hitachi Energy is experiencing strong growth, necessitating expansion of our manufacturing base to meet increasing demand in the electrical distribution market. Recently, we underwent a major IT reorganization, resulting in the creation of the Transformer BST (Business Solution Team), which supports the Transformer business with its IT needs.

This is a Manager role leading a global team responsible for delivering and supporting Transformer-specific applications that support Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations. The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for:

• Leading multinational teams to deliver IT services for the Transformer Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations portfolio.
• Managing HR, budgets, and ensuring the team is properly organized and skilled.
• Managing vendor contracts and deliverables, planning the annual budget, and developing a multi-year strategic roadmap.
• Developing governance processes with the business to manage change requests and ensuring conformance with Hitachi guidelines.
• Maintaining up-to-date training materials.
• Overseeing Transformer-related report development, working with development teams for timely delivery.
• Collaborating with the business to define, plan, and execute new projects.
• Supporting process excellence and data flow efficiencies across systems.
• Working with support teams to build integrations and automations to improve business processes.

Your background

• Strong IT project management skills
• Experience in building IT integrations
• Knowledge of finance, budgeting, and financial reporting
• SAP FI / CO experience
• Effective communication skills with both business users and technical teams
• Ability to create and update documentation in English
• Knowledge of HE IT Project governance processes
