A prominent research institute in Barcelona is seeking a skilled laboratory technician for the TwinAIR project, focused on improving indoor air quality. The candidate will handle tasks including microbial cultivation, DNA extraction, and result presentation. Required qualifications include a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of laboratory experience in microbiology. The role offers a full-time contract for 6 months, starting in February 2026, with a salary aligned to the institute's internal scale.

Formación

• At least 2 years of laboratory experience.
• Previous working experience in a microbiology and/or molecular biology laboratory.
• Experience in both microbial culture and molecular techniques (DNA and RNA extraction and PCR).

Responsabilidades

• Conduct microbial cultivation, isolation, and identification.
• Perform DNA extraction of airborne and human microorganisms.
• Characterize microorganisms using molecular biology techniques.
• Present results in meetings.
• Write reports associated with the project.
