• We are looking for an HVAC technician experienced with working on Daikin Brand air conditioners to join our team!

Requirements

• MUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE IN REPAIRING, REPLACING, AND INSTALLING DAIKIN BRAND FIT VARIABLE SPEED INVERTER HVAC UNITS (includes Goodman & Amana) and Carrier. Heat Pumps and Mini Splits.
• Minimum of 15 years experience as an HVAC service technician and EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
• Team player with a positive attitude, comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Diagnose, repair, and service HVAC systems of various types & brands, including electric or gas Straight Cool, Mini-Split, Split Ductless, Package Units, Variable Speed Inverters, Heat Pumps, Air Handlers & Condensers, mostly residential but some commercial.
• MANDATORY: Experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing "DAIKIN FIT" variable speed inverter units.
• Detect and locate refrigerant leaks using electronic leak detectors.
• Use A/C manifold gauges to test, measure, fill, and recover refrigerants; certified to handle refrigerants like R-22, R-410A, R-407C.
• Diagnose, test, repair, and replace electrical components, motors, fans, compressors, and coils. All parts will be supplied.
• Perform preventive maintenance and clear clogged drain lines.
• Valid Driver's License and EPA Certification required.
• Own and operate personal tools, gauges, leak detector, soldering iron, shop vac, etc.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift at least 40 pounds.
• Excellent customer service skills, level-headedness.
• Experience installing HVAC systems is a plus.
