At Vestas, we are in search of an HSE Manager who aspires to enhance safety and sustainability in a factory setting.
Your Responsibilities
- Create local HSE documentation (risk assessments, emergency response plans, customer‑specific procedures, etc.).
- Oversee contractors/subcontractors (including mobilization/demobilization, post‑work assessments, and audits).
- Deliver basic safety training as per local legal requirements and define training needs.
- Support Operations in incident and hazardous observation investigations and root cause analysis.
- Conduct site inspections and safety walks.
- Contribute to the development of a "Zero Incident Culture".
- Provide support on QSE (Quality, Safety & Environment) matters at the country level.
- Participate in tender processes (prepare QSE documentation, review contracts from an HSE perspective).
- Assist with organizational and administrative team tasks.
- Perform and follow up on internal audits at both local and regional levels (SU/SBU).
- Develop and help implement procedures and consultation processes.
What We’re Looking For
- University degree in HSE or a related field.
- High level of English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of Spanish HSE legislation.
- Around 5 years of experience in similar roles.
