At T-Systems we are looking for a HR Business Partner / PMO located in Barcelona who will collaborate with our teams to continue shaping the future of our business and people.
This hybrid role combines the strategic and operational responsibilities of a Project Management Office (PMO) with those of an HR Business Partner (HRBP). The focus is to ensure alignment between business priorities, people strategies and HR transformation initiatives driving execution excellence while enabling organizational effectiveness and talent growth.
Main responsibilities
As PMO / HR
- Lead the governance planning and delivery of key strategic projects across HR business functions and international centers of excellence.
- Establish and maintain project management standards, templates and reporting frameworks.
- Ensure alignment of HR project portfolios with organizational priorities and resources.
- Track project milestones, KPIs, ROI; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and communication among HR project stakeholders.
- Support leadership in strategic planning, budgeting and execution of transformation programs.
As HRBP
- Partner with business leaders to translate strategy into people plans including workforce planning, capability development and organizational design.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management on employee engagement, performance and talent development.
- Lead talent review, succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
- Support change management initiatives ensuring cultural alignment and employee readiness.
- Monitor key HR metrics (turnover, engagement, productivity) and use data to drive decisions.
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (e.g. Talent, Learning, Compensation) to deploy HR programs effectively.
Qualifications
Mandatory skills
- At least 7 years of hands‑on experience in project management and organizational planning.
- Managing multiple priorities and stakeholders in dynamic environments.
- Strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach to execution.
- Deep understanding of HR processes, talent development and organizational effectiveness.
- Analytical mindset and experience using data for insights and decision‑making.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required (additional language proficiency is a plus).
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering complex HR and cross‑functional initiatives.
- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus.
- Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint.
