HR Warehouse Manager Spain & Italy (Part-time)
METRO Markets GmbH is looking for a PART-TIME HR Warehouse Manager to oversee HR operations for warehouse teams in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, and Casei Gerola, Italy, supporting a dynamic workforce of 60–80 employees. Responsibilities
- Partner with Warehouse Management to ensure smooth hiring and workforce planning.
- Take ownership of all HR processes, from employment contracts to compliance and attestations.
- Provide outstanding people care to both warehouse and commercial teams.
- Oversee HR systems, including time tracking, personnel files, and reporting.
- Work cross-functionally in a matrix organization, collaborating with central teams and key stakeholders.
- Ensure full legal compliance, including health and safety regulations.
- Navigate and apply relevant Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
- Work closely with centralized HR services to streamline operations.
- Drive HR initiatives and contribute to key projects.
What you bring to the table
- Good understanding of Spanish and Italian labor law, workplace legislation, and safety regulations.
- Experience working with works councils / unions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and assertiveness skills.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- A proactive, independent, and structured approach to work.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to perform under pressure.
- A friendly, engaging, and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Fluent or native Spanish and Italian, with solid English skills.
