A leading automotive company in Spain is seeking an HR Manager to manage personnel administration and labor relations for a production plant with approximately 500 employees. The ideal candidate will have a degree in HR, fluent English and Spanish, and proven operational HR management experience. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with labor laws and promoting effective communication and diversity initiatives within the plant.

Role overview

Manage the area of Personnel Administration, Labor Relations and HR Development for the production plant with circa 500 employees in accordance with the policy of the department. of corporate HR and in coordination with Plant Manager.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement company HR policies.
  • Manage the Labor Relations of the Plants: works council, agreements, negotiation, relations with unions, etc.
  • Manage Plant Personnel Administration area: payroll, hiring, personnel data management, dressing codes, presence control; always ensuring compliance with current labor legislation in all these matters.
  • Manage the HR development area (training, selection).
  • Manage the workforce plan: forecasting hiring, planning for hiring, monitoring, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with the Plant Communication Plan.
  • Preparation of reports and reporting indicators.
  • Propose and manage the annual Budget of the Department, as well as expenses related to personnel.
  • Representing the Company in Public Administration, and coordinating with other corporate departments (legal, purchasing, etc.).
  • Promote and be a facilitator of participation, teamwork and communication in the different areas of the Plant.
  • Promote actions on gender equality, diversity and other social policies.
  • Coordinate GDPR activities at plant level.
