A leading multinational beverage company is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner in Madrid to drive talent strategy and support organisational growth. This role focuses on talent sustainability, inclusion, and operational excellence within a dynamic environment. The size of the team sitting within the remit of this role is approximately 200 employees spread across Spain and Portugal.
The role partners with stakeholders within the Commercial teams in Iberia, recognising that each area requires very specialised talent and capabilities. Attention to varied talent attraction, retention and development strategies is necessary. The incumbent must be able to navigate the matrix organisation, build strong relationships and be able to influence across all levels of the business. The role works closely with Centres of Expertise to deliver the People Strategy effectively as well as Commercial leaders to drive the talent agenda.
This role sits at the heart of driving business growth by bringing to life the four distinctive areas of our People Strategy : Advantaged Capabilities, Talent Sustainability, Thriving Organisation and Operational Excellence.
Top responsibilities
HRBP experience, preferably in FMCG companies or within fast-paced, dynamic multinational companies or multicultural environments, being advantageous the experience working across countries / geographies / cultures.
Proven ability to influence and build credibility with all levels of partners, building genuine relationships based on mutual trust & respect, and being able to excel when dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a matrixed environment.
Demonstrable ability in coaching and performance management of Leaders and stakeholders, influencing, supporting, and challenging for positive outcomes.
Demonstrable success in driving cultural transformation. Change and project management skills (including influencing change)
Proven experience in managing the talent agenda and excellent talent judgement – ability to assess talent gaps, and suggest actions needed to strengthen the talent bench.
Curiosity and understanding of what drives the business, having managed organisational design principles to drive growth / progression for commercial teams while
Ability to understand and drive insights from HR data, analysing to measure impacts, assess plans, diagnose trends and link to business performance outcomes.
Deep personal accountability for great performance
Degree qualified or equivalent experience, preferably in HR
