A renewable energy company in Spain is seeking a Head of Geotechnics to oversee geotechnical methodologies and ensure project quality. The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in geoscience and over 10 years of experience in management roles. Responsibilities include implementing geotechnical techniques, troubleshooting on-site issues, and training team members. Proficiency in English is mandatory, with Spanish and French as added advantages. This is a full-time role with a flexible day rate and office location or remote work options.

Formación

• 10 years of demonstrated experience in a geotechnical management role.
• Hands-on, willing to go offshore for troubleshooting if necessary.
• English mandatory, Spanish desired, French is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Create, validate, and propose geophysics methodologies.
• Present cost-efficient and quality-optimized geotechnical techniques.
• Provide support for technical issues encountered by vessel crew.
• Review the quality of all geophysical data.
• Assist in assessing chartered vessels.
• Support tender and sales teams with technical inputs.
• Coach team to improve quality of work performed.
