SCIB is looking for a Global Transaction Banking Chief of Staff Associate based out of Madrid.

As a member of the CoS GTB team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic priorities and driving business performance. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, contributing to the growth and transformation of our business.

  • Support the business in the design and implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive business plans aligned with company goals and market dynamics.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and drive strategic decisions. Including information on financials, commercial activity, resources planning and product development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders such as Finance, COO Office, and Product to ensure alignment and execution of initiatives.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and execution of strategic priorities and action plans. Preparing reports and presentations to support business reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of scalable business tools.

Professional Experience
  • Minimum 4–6 years of professional experience in strategic planning, business operations, or corporate development roles. (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience in building and executing business plans, including financial modelling and KPI tracking. (Required)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. (Required)
  • Experience preparing executive-level presentations and reports to support decision-making. (Required)
  • Consulting background or experience in a corporate strategy team is a strong plus. (Preferred)
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. (Required)
  • Additional certifications in strategy, finance, or project management (e.g., CFA, PMP) are a plus. (Preferred)
Languages
  • Fluent written and spoken English. (Required)
  • Other languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, German) will be a plus. (Preferred)
Hard Skills
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts, business planning, and performance management. (Required)
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is a plus. (Preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies. (Required)
