A global banking institution is seeking a Data Governance Specialist in Madrid, Spain. This full-time role involves leading data governance activities to ensure compliance and quality across Global Markets. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in data governance, strong database knowledge, and fluency in English and Spanish. Formación

• At least 3 years of experience in data governance and/or data quality management.
• Strong knowledge of databases and data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with data governance tools and frameworks (e.g. BCBS 239).
• Ability to work cross-functionally with business, IT and compliance teams.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and ensure data quality in core Global Markets processes.
• Design, build or define monitoring tools to track and control data quality.
• Identify and engage in new initiatives where data governance will be essential.
• Support business units in addressing data quality issues.
• Develop expertise in critical market-related data.
• Generate reports related to data quality for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure alignment with the strategy for data governance and data availability.
