What you'll do :
- Handle non-standard business approvals specific to Blue Yonder’s field sales and professional services, helping to shape and align deals to win, comply with policies, and maximize bookings growth.
- Maintain the Blue Yonder Approval Matrix, or other documents used to assist Sales, simplifying them to stay relevant.
- Review Partner or Customer Master Agreements to help Sales understand contractual terms.
- Document and create new commercial policies, and train team members on them.
- Develop and maintain a ‘Sales Guide’ to assist Global Sales with contract terms and common customer questions.
- Create and update a ‘language library’ of preferred responses for frequent approval issues.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Global Sales, participating in Sales Forecast calls as needed.
- Monitor patterns of concern and develop action plans to address them.
- Generate new project ideas to transform Blue Yonder’s business.
- Lead cross-functional projects within the Commercial Excellence group or other stakeholders to improve productivity and reduce silos.
- Reinforce best practices with Global Sales
- Assist sales in direct customer negotiations when appropriate.
What we're looking for :
- Highly self-motivated, independent worker and thinker. Initiative is essential.
- Proactive approach and action orientation.
- 10+ years’ experience in Contracts, Commercial Desk, or Sales Operations, preferably in Enterprise Software, SaaS, or Technology.
- Ability to manage and communicate change effectively.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, able to be firm yet fair, and receptive to feedback.
- Assertiveness in proposing ideas and persuading others, while maintaining collaboration.
- Strong teamwork orientation, prioritizing group needs.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with attentive listening and clarification questions.
- Ability to succinctly summarize insights and tailor messages to audiences.
- Strong process management and timeline skills.
- Adaptability to change, with a focus on advancing work and projects.
- Consistent high performance, with a results-driven mindset.
