About the job German-Speaking Content Moderator -barcelona

We are looking for a detail-oriented German-Speaking Content Moderator to join our team in Barcelona. In this role, you will help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for users on one of the worlds leading digital platforms. Youll review and moderate online content, making decisions that help maintain platform integrity and community standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review user-generated content to ensure it aligns with platform policies.
  • Monitor and assess content for inappropriate, harmful, or illegal material.
  • Take swift action based on content moderation guidelines.
  • Escalate complex cases to senior moderation teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to improve processes.

Fluent in German (C2 level) and proficient in English.

Strong understanding of social media and digital platforms.

Ability to analyze and evaluate content objectively.

Resilience when dealing with sensitive or challenging content.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, or a similar role is a plus.
