Responsibilities
- Lead all pre-opening activities including recruitment, training, budgeting, and operational setup
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure a successful launch and long-term profitability
- Build and inspire a high-performing team aligned with brand values and service excellence
- Oversee all departments: Rooms, F&B, Spa, Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR, Engineering
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, local regulations, and sustainability goals
- Establish strong relationships with ownership, brand representatives, and local stakeholders
- Drive guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial results
Qualifications
- Proven experience as General Manager in luxury hospitality
- Previous experience in hotel openings is highly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commercially savvy with deep understanding of P&L and revenue management
- Fluent in Spanish and English (additional languages a plus)
- Culturally aware, elegant, and service-oriented
- Strong relational skills
- Able to handle the complexity of a large-scale resort (230+ rooms)
- Collaborative and humble leadership style
- Experience working with ownership structures
