We are currently looking for a talented Generative AI Artist to join our growing team on a freelance, fully remote basis. Job Description

The Gen AI Artist leverages generative artificial intelligence to create, enhance, and integrate visual assets that support the creative vision of Clients and the Visual Effects Supervisor. The artist is responsible for the aesthetic integrity, technical reliability, and creative consistency of all AI‑generated imagery delivered for a project.

Under the guidance of the Gen AI Supervisor, Department leads and Visual Effect Supervisor, the Gen AI Artist produces high‑quality AI‑generated visual assets that meet the project’s creative direction, using a combination of AI‑driven tools, custom nodes and workflows, curated datasets, still and animated imagery, CG renders, and digitally enhanced elements.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Gen AI Supervisor and Visual Effects Supervisor to help define the creative and technical approach for assigned shots or sequences.
• Generate high‑quality visual assets using AI‑driven tools and pipelines, including image generation, model prompting, fine‑tuning, dataset creation, upscaling, and iterative visual exploration.
• Collaborate with supervisors and artists across compositing, DMP, and lighting to integrate AI‑generated elements into final shots.
• Maintain visual consistency across assigned shots and sequences, ensuring style, colour, quality, and creative intent are aligned.
• Build, adapt, and optimize Gen AI workflows — particularly within ComfyUI — along with GenAI tools, and assist in identifying creative and technical solutions.
• Contribute to internal R&D by testing emerging models, tools, and techniques and sharing findings with the wider team.
• Support the training, onboarding, and development of artists exploring Gen AI tools and workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Gen AI platforms and tools (such as ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, image‑to‑image and image‑to‑video workflows, LoRA training and customization).
• Strong artistic skills in composition, realism, style matching, lighting, and colour grading.
• Solid understanding of how AI‑generated assets interact with VFX workflows, including compositing, CG, and Digital Matte Painting.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
