Be part of the growing Firmware team for a pioneering technology firm specialising in high-speed optical communications. Headquartered in Madrid, Spain, they are renowned for their cutting-edge developments in gigabit connectivity solutions.

The firm leverages advanced plastic optical fiber (POF) technology to deliver robust, cost-effective, and high-performance communication systems. These solutions are particularly advantageous in automotive, industrial, and home networking applications, where reliability and speed are paramount.

As a member of the R&D team, you will be responsible for developing embedded firmware for the company's integrated circuit microprocessors and creating test programs for production testing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing continuous integration tests for microprocessor firmware during ASIC prototyping.
  • Contributing to the development of technology evaluation vehicles and software development kits.
  • Participating in the specification and review of PCBs used for production testing of the company's products.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Experience in embedded programming - C/C++ and assembler.
  • Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems.
  • Basic understanding of PCB schematics.
