Your Mission

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations in Spain. This role will be responsible for managing all local finance activities, ensuring compliance with Spanish accounting standards (PGC), tax regulations, and corporate policies. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and proven experience in financial management within the Spanish market.

What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Lead all local accounting and financial operations, including GL, AP, AR, treasury, and payroll coordination.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Spanish GAAP (PGC) and IFRS where applicable.
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reports to regional and global headquarters.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for Spain.
Compliance & Taxation
  • Ensure compliance with Spanish tax legislation, including VAT, CIT, SII, and withholding taxes.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of statutory filings and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate finance policies.
Business Partnering
  • Act as a strategic business partner to local management, providing financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Support commercial teams with pricing analysis, margin optimization, and contract reviews.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
People & Process Management
  • Lead and develop local finance staff or coordinate outsourced accounting providers.
  • Continuously improve financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of finance or accounting experience in Spain, including management-level responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC), local tax regulations, and statutory reporting.
  • Experience working in multinational environments and with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is required.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Working experience in Auto industry is a plus.
