About the Role

As a Field Tech Strategist for Europe, you will support the full European teams as well as the leader engaging with our Executive Briefing program based out of Barcelona. You will work and support the CTO Labs & Tech Strategy team at CrowdStrike. The Tech Strategy team’s mission is to identify & deliver new strategic direction & thought leadership to customers, analysts, media & partners while supporting the international growth of customers, new markets and TAM. This includes driving strategy through cross functional collaboration across the company including Product, Sales, Marketing, and more.

As the region's Technology Strategist, you will be responsible for creating and communicating the company’s technical vision and strategy on a regional basis and working closely with the company’s product CTO’s, Product Managers and Engineering functions on a regular basis. You will also work closely with other groups within the CTO Labs organisation, which includes: public sector and industry teams, legal and corporate affairs, and public relations, data science, corporate development as well as detection engineering.

What You’ll Do
  • Inform CrowdStrike’s long‑range strategic vision and product roadmap for security, and facilitate entry of new security technology concepts to market to position CrowdStrike as the leading thought leader for Cybersecurity with customers, partners and industry analysts.
  • Drive and communicate CrowdStrike’s technology strategy to customers, partners and investors as well as media and industry events.
  • Deliver high‑impact Executive Business Centre (EBC) customer engagements, presenting the technical vision and strategy to C‑level executives and key stakeholders, ensuring these engagements are tailored to address customer‑specific challenges and align with strategic business objectives.
  • Engage with governments and regulators on cybersecurity, technical policy, and innovation.
  • Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of the cyber security industry, competitive landscape and related industry developments to ensure continuous thought leadership and innovation.
  • Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
  • Focus on technology improvements that will benefit the region.
  • Discover new technologies that yield competitive advantage as part of the core platform or through technology partnerships.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
What You’ll Need
  • Experience in developing security strategies for companies and/or governments and overseeing successful implementation and execution.
  • Experience building and executing corporate security strategy that differentiates CrowdStrike’s products and services.
  • Broad information security competency and experience across strategy, governance, technology and policy.
  • Deep and broad knowledge of security issues and trends, and ability to articulate a high‑level security strategy to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Detailed understanding of CrowdStrike’s security architecture and ability to articulate its value proposition.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders within customers and at CrowdStrike, including C‑level executives.
  • Experience working in a global environment, geopolitically aware and sensitive to different government sentiments toward technology organisations.
  • Proven history of speaking at industry conferences, publishing blogs, podcasts, white papers, books, etc.
  • Experience or willingness to support public relations and media interviews on various security and current affairs topics, including crisis situations.
  • Experience in a role such as Regional CTO, Enterprise Technology Strategist, Strategic Consultant, Enterprise Security Architect.
  • Hands‑on experience in detailed research and analysis.
  • Experience and exposure to the cybersecurity domain, especially threat landscape of nation‑state/criminal actors and their varying methodologies of exploitation.
  • Experience and exposure to Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, SIEM/Log Management, Mobile Security, Identity Security, Incident Response and other cyber security domains.
  • Regional travel with some international travel expected.
