A leading decarbonization asset developer seeks a Circular Economy Financial Analyst in Madrid. You will conduct financial analysis for sustainability projects, prepare investment proposals, and monitor ongoing contracts. Overview

As a leading developer of decarbonization assets, we are seeking a skilled Circular Economy Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving strategic financial insights across complex industrial projects, particularly in the waste management and chemical sectors.

The ideal candidate will lead high-impact analyses that shape long-term sustainability and growth strategies by developing advanced financial and economic models to evaluate strategic business opportunities in the circular economy space.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of investment projects, including profitability assessment, risk quantification, and scenario modelling.
  • Prepare and present investment proposals and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and decision-making committees.
  • Deliver comprehensive market studies—current and forecasted—covering trends, pricing, and regulatory impacts in waste management and chemical industries.
  • Monitor and assess the financial performance of ongoing contracts, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to optimize returns.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; Master’s in Finance highly preferred.
  • Certification of CFA Level I or higher.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally within industrial or sustainability-focused sectors.
  • Strong understanding of industrial processes, sustainability metrics, and circular economy principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines; exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
