Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a Digital Localization Senior Specialist to join its Digital Experience Center of Excellence team in Madrid. Responsibilities
- Manage translation requests – end‑to‑end process of content translation requests through the Content Management System (CMS) or vendor portal. Collaborate with marketing, branding, and other internal teams to determine their needs and recommend solutions. Manage timelines for the end‑to‑end process from intake of request, to publishing to the site or delivery of offline assets, delivering projects on time and within budgetary guidelines. Ensure workflow remains agile and updates are handled quickly.
- Ensure localization quality – maintain a high standard of localization on all online and offline platforms and assets. Review reported localization issues and provide/implement fixes. Conduct UX testing to identify localization‑related bugs and submit tickets in the reporting tool. Work with Product teams to test features and services for local markets and uphold established quality standards.
- Enhance the in‑language experience – provide a fully localized experience for key markets, ensuring that the content, design and overall digital experience is relevant for the local audience. Suggest enhancements to the web and app to improve the user experience in language. Identify new translation opportunities on web and app.
- Support functions – preparation of weekly and monthly reports. Day‑to‑day relationship with vendors. Assist in maintaining linguistic style guides, translation memories, and terminology databases. Represent linguistic and cultural nuances in cross‑functional meetings. Assist in documenting process and best practices, sharing these to a larger audience when needed.
Requirements / Skills
- 3+ years of experience in localization.
- A high or native level of English, speaking a second language to a fluent level is a plus.
- Previous work experience in a multi‑lingual, multi‑brand content management process, across markets and channels.
- Excellent working knowledge of industry leading translations / localization technology (Trados knowledge is a plus).
- Experience working with leading web or enterprise Content Management Systems (SDL Tridion knowledge is a plus).
- Familiar with ticketing systems and SLA Compliance (Workfront knowledge is a plus).
- Experience in Digital Experience and UX / UI design is preferred.
- Experience with AI‑assisted translations is a plus.
- Culturally sensitive and the ability to work well with a diverse team.
- High degree of ownership and accountability.
- Balance multiple projects simultaneously within a fast‑paced work environment.
- Ability to work with technical staff and communicate clearly.
