A leading global steel and mining company is seeking a Digital/AI Expert to support its digital vision and strategy. This role involves collaborating with various departments, managing AI-driven initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business strategies. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Engineering or Digital, advanced English skills, and over 10 years of relevant experience. Frequent travel will be required, making the position flexible regarding location.

Formación

• Master degree in Engineering or Digital is mandatory.
• PhD in AI/Digitalization will be a plus.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Orchestrate collaboration among CTO, IT, R&D, and partners.
• Manage the Accelerate Digital Innovation (ADI) initiative.
• Coordinate Digital Roadmaps with the Segments.

Overview

As Digital/AI Expert, you will support our digital vision and strategy by supporting segments and supervise execution for ArcelorMittal Digital & AI-driven transformation, ensuring full alignment with Business Strategy.

Responsibilities

Your areas of responsibilities:

It includes orchestrating collaboration among CTO, IT, R&D, Segments, OEMs and Partners, designing mechanisms to speed up deployment of Digital solutions globally, pushing for top technology to be implemented in our segments, and managing communication initiatives.

• Actively contribute to the objectives of the Digital Council
• Restructure the Activity Tracking / AI Dashboard
• Perform technical analysis of Digital CAPEX files – IAC
• Manage the Accelerate Digital Innovation (ADI) initiative
• Contribute to the creation of our AI Governance
• Participate in the IT Spend Review analysis committee
• Coordinate with Legal & Compliance on AI regulation and audits
• Actively contribute to the Digital Academy
• Conduct AI & Digital Technology watch activities
• Establish KPIs and the mechanism for the segments to measure and follow
• Build external relationships with top AI & Digital Tech companies and global partnerships
• Coordinate Digital Roadmaps with the Segments
• Coordinate the Group Digital Newsletter

The person will be integrated in Group CTO reporting to the Head of AI/Digital.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• Education:
  • Master degree in Engineering or Digital is mandatory
  • PhD in AI/Digitalization will be a plus
  • Any relevant certification will be an advantage
• Language:
  • Advanced level of English is mandatory
  • Any other language is a plus
• Skills:
  • At least 10 years of experience in a relevant position
  • Demonstrable knowledge on manufacturing and business processes
  • Demonstrable knowledge on AI / Digital technologies
  • Used to work in Worldwide environment and different time zones
  • Demonstrable experience on direction of large projects on international environments.

Frequent travel will be required (50% approximately), therefore the position can base anywhere.
