We’re looking for a Development Engineer to play a pivotal role in driving innovation across our product development efforts. You’ll be instrumental in designing and testing cutting-edge surgical systems, helping turn complex technical challenges into safe, effective medical solutions. This is a hands-on, collaborative role that will see you working closely with colleagues and suppliers to bring new ideas to life — from initial concept through to production

Design and development activities include:

• Designing, building, and testing computer-controlled surgical systems, surgical endoscopic instruments, and accessories
• Generating ideas and solutions for new products or sub-systems
• Preparing and reviewing design and development documentation
• Design verification activities
• Risk management activities
• Interface and coordination with suppliers
• Design transfer to production and industrialization activities

Key responsibilities also include:

• Determination of requirements for processes and components
• Preparation and review of purchase specifications and orders
• Incoming verification activities
• Support to supplier evaluation, selection, monitoring, and re-evaluation
• Complying with the Quality Management System requirements
• Preparing and maintaining design and development files
• Supporting the preparation of Technical Files
