Position Overview – Capital Markets Sales (Vice President or Director), Madrid based

As a sales role, you will originate and complete mandates across the entire spectrum of Debt Capital Markets and Loan Finance transactions globally. You will also work on cross‑product transactions leveraging Apex’s global fund, financial and corporate services offering. The role requires effective prioritisation and management in a fast‑changing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Spanish and international market players involved in debt finance transactions, including SPV set‑ups and loan administration.
  • Define and implement effective sales strategies that attract and retain prestigious clients, enhancing Apex’s market presence.
  • Originise, solutionate and execute new transactions.
  • Prepare and present deal documentation for internal committees.
  • Maintain meticulous record‑keeping of sales activities in Salesforce CRM.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant 7+ years experience in the financial services industry with an existing network.
  • Experience in SPV administration, loan agency, structured finance/credit, securitisation/ABS, or bonds.
  • Client‑centric mindset with attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Willingness to navigate and cross‑sell the wider Apex single‑source solution.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
