A financial services company in Madrid is seeking an Operations Associate to act as a liaison with members and regulators. The ideal candidate will manage clearing accounts and audits, support onboarding, and possess a degree in Economics or a similar field with experience in the financial sector. • Experience of at least 1-2 years in the financial sector, preferably in back office or operational area.
• Minimum knowledge of financial instruments or derivative products and of the functioning of a CCP.

What You Will Do

• Act as liaison with members, regulators and other infrastructures within BME
• Management and maintenance of clearing accounts
• Management of audits and due diligences
• Support to members during onboarding and termination processes
• Management and maintenance of testing environment
• Support to members on testing and production

What You Bring

• Availability to work in weekly rotatory shifts to cover the CCP operations 08 : 30h to 19 : 30h.
• Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Similar, and a Postgraduate studies in Financial Markets will be an asset
• Experience of at least 1-2 years in the financial sector, preferably in back office or operational area
• Minimum knowledge of financial instruments or derivative products and of the functioning of a CCP (Margins, Clearing members)
• Good command of English and Spanish (minimum B2 level writing and speaking) and advanced Office skills
• Thorough, proactive and decisive person, with good communication and teamwork skills
