Head of Engineering : A Senior Leadership Role

Circa 140K Euros + Bonus + Shares. Remote Flex with EU Office locations (Preferably UK, Germany or Spain).

About Our Organisation :

We are a reputable SaaS company that prioritises collaboration and high performance. You will work closely with our CTO, CPO, Head of Product, and other key stakeholders to execute our bold product roadmap.

As a seasoned engineer in a production environment, you will drive innovation within our product team. We encourage sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.

Responsibilities :

You have vast experience developing software in large-scale production systems, ideally using Python, Java or Golang. You also have a great foundation in microservice principles, event sourcing, cloud-native infrastructure, and clean code best practices.

Additionally, you will play a key role in setting up and managing CI / CD pipelines, and guiding teams globally. Experience in handling big data, remote sensing, and machine learning is desirable.

Requirements :

• 8+ years of experience as an engineer in a production environment.
• 1-2+ years in a senior engineering leadership role such as Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, VP of Engineering or similar.
• Hands-on experience managing teams of 10+, and scaling them.
• Strong record of developing deep-tech strategies, and supporting product roadmaps.
• Fluent English, with a passion for sustainability.
