A leading mobility technology company is seeking Calibration Engineers in Valladolid, Spain. Candidates should possess a Mechanical or Automotive Engineering degree and experience in calibration, particularly in hybrid systems. Essential skills include familiarity with power electronics and calibration tools. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, while French is a plus. This permanent position offers the chance to work on advanced mobility technologies.

AVL Iberica offers a job in Spain (ES) as Calibration Engineers within our growing workgroup.

Positions Available

• System validation engineers: Follow a validation plan to verify the correct behavior of powertrain components when submitted to a failure
• Powertrain debug engineers: Assist production / end‑of‑line / dealerships and calibration teams to maintain prototypes and customer vehicles fully operational
• Calibration data management: Assembly, validation and industrialization of calibrations related to powertrain components
• Generic calibration engineers: Plan and perform a wide range of tests within engine bench and vehicle on engine base calibration / emission / diagnostics or driveability
• Calibration pilots: Work together with junior and senior calibration engineers to ensure the proper development of the calibration (technical lead - overview of all activities)

Mostly gasoline hybrid platforms within our current projects

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Depending on selected role

YOUR PROFILE:

• Education: Mechanical / Automotive / or similar Engineering degree
• Provided understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics
• Competences acquired on ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Creta, DDT2000; Matlab simulink or similar tools required
• English and Spanish required
• French is a plus
• Minimum 1 year of previous calibration experience. Preferable in hybrid systems
