Our client, a leading international specialist in industrial components, is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across Spain. What You'll Do
Drive Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies to increase revenue and market share
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across Spanish and European markets
- Build and convert a robust pipeline of high-value prospects
Own Customer Relationships
- Cultivate long-term partnerships with key accounts and decision-makers
- Conduct quarterly business reviews to uncover growth opportunities
- Act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions that drive customer success
Deliver Commercial Excellence
- Lead contract negotiations and manage pricing strategies to optimise margins
- Cross-sell product portfolio and communicate the value proposition effectively
- Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless delivery
Provide Market Intelligence
- Analyse competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy
- Feed customer insights into product development and innovation initiatives
What You Bring
Essential : 5+ years
- in business development or sales within fasteners, manufacturing, or engineering sectors
- Sales experience selling into the Medical or SMART Infrastructure markets
- Proven track record of exceeding targets and closing complex B2B deals
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse data and develop market-specific approaches
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (D365 experience advantageous)
- Full clean driving license and willingness to travel extensively across Europe
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
Highly Desirable :
- Additional European language(s)
- Cross-border commercial experience and cultural adaptability
- Technical understanding of fasteners or industrial components
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering
