The ideal candidate will possess a university degree and have 3–5 years of experience in business development, focusing on client acquisition and B2B relationships. As part of the VULCAIN ENGINEERING group — a leading French multinational with a strong presence in critical infrastructure and energy sectors — we operate with a multi-disciplinary and international approach .

We are currently seeking a Business Developer to join our Technical Assistance division, based in Madrid , and play a key role in driving operations and strategic growth within engineering service projects.

📒 What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in engineering consultancy and technical assistance services.
  • Lead client acquisition efforts across the infrastructure, energy, industrial, and environmental sectors.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring continuity and upselling of services.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to tailor technical proposals and define commercial offers.
  • Participate in bidding processes, framework agreements, and market intelligence activities.
  • Represent the company in industry events, forums, and meetings with stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and detect early opportunities in line with strategic positioning.
  • Report on sales pipeline, KPIs, and forecast data to management.
  • Support in defining strategic commercial actions aligned with Vulcain Group's objectives.

  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in sales or business development roles within the technical consulting or engineering services sector.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and B2B relationship management.
  • Understanding of project-based business models in Technical Assistance / Time & Materials.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory).
  • Additional languages such as French, Italian, or German will be highly valued.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, sales tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
