Pepper Group Spain is investing in the development of a loan servicing platform and broader ecosystem with the goal of providing modular elements of the platform to internal and third-party customers on a SaaS basis.

About the role

The Azure Infrastructure Engineer is a key new appointment to Project PRISM, working with the dedicated team to build the platform for web and mobile access.

The Infrastructure Engineer will be a proactive, high-achieving individual who brings product and domain expertise, with experience in building cloud infrastructure for high-quality enterprise applications and a passion for technology.

Main Responsibilities

1. Development and maintenance of Azure infrastructure using best tools and practices.
2. Design and configuration of CI/CD pipelines, containers, virtual networks, and monitoring dashboards.
3. Design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts for multi-tenant setups.
4. Performance monitoring and optimization of Azure resources, including cost and performance advice.
5. Implementation of governance policies such as Azure AD, security, and virtual networks.
6. Collaboration with development, testing, and Scrum teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
7. Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud, Azure AD, security, and IaC tools like Terraform or Crossplane.
8. Advocacy for CI/CD methodologies, familiar with Azure DevOps.
9. Deep understanding of cloud artifacts/tools such as containers, API management, event bus, app services, and monitoring.
