Overview

Associate Content Editor (Finnish) – Barcelona, Spain (hybrid). Full-time

Responsibilities

• Maintain Research Professional’s & Pivot-RP's database listing funding opportunities through online research, data verification and standardisation, and information summarising for online publications.
• Online researching, verifying, compiling, editing and formatting funding opportunities for Research Professional & Pivot-RP.
• Translating funding opportunities information.
• Developing expertise of research funding landscapes across at least two territories.
• Proofreading and spotting spelling, grammatical and factual errors.
• Contacting funders by email for information.
• Participating in team discussions and helping develop and improve work processes.

Qualifications

• University level degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent read and written Finnish (Native or C2) and excellent read, spoken and written English (C1 / C2)
• Previous online research experience and/or using various computer software
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Reading/writing knowledge of a foreign language (as applicable)

About the team

The team supports the research community globally. You’ll be working primarily with the Finnish, UK, Irish and Pan-Nordic markets. Report to the Team Manager, Content Curation, based in London. Team comprises 23 members across language/markets.

Hours of Work & Location

This is a permanent full-time position. Hybrid work with 2-3 days per week at the Barcelona office.
