Este rol implica diseñar APIs, garantizar su calidad y promover arquitecturas basadas en eventos. Se requiere experiencia de más de 4 años en diseño de APIs REST y asíncronas, además de fluidez en inglés y español. What You’ll Do

You will design and govern APIs (REST and asynchronous), ensuring quality, security, and alignment between business and technology. Your work will promote best practices and drive the adoption of event-driven architectures. Your responsibilities will include :

• Design and document APIs using Swagger / OpenAPI and AsyncAPI, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Model events and define schemas (Avro) for event-driven architectures.
• Govern the full API lifecycle: versioning, monitoring, documentation, and deprecation.
• Implement quality validation, automation, and CI / CD pipelines for API development.
• Promote API and EDA adoption through workshops and evangelization, bridging business and technology.

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented API Engineer passionate about designing and governing high‑quality APIs that connect business and technology. Ideally, you bring :

• 4+ years of experience in API design, definition, and governance (REST and asynchronous).
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Python (at least one is mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of API documentation standards and tools — Swagger / OpenAPI, AsyncAPI.
• Understanding of event‑driven concepts such as events vs commands, orchestration vs choreography, SAGA patterns.
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines, automation, and API quality validation.
• Advanced security implementation: OAuth, JWT, IdP, certificates, and mTLS.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Experience with Kafka and Schema Registry is a plus.
