About our Customer Support Systems team

Our CS Systems team is responsible for developing AI-driven solutions that support our customer support operations and enhance agent efficiency. Our talented team is focused on architecting next-generation platforms and tooling that leverages artificial intelligence to transform how we deliver customer support. We work across multiple systems and applications, continuously innovating to integrate AI capabilities while maintaining the reliability and scalability of our customer-facing solutions.

What you will do
  • You will design and build a new generation of AI-powered Customer Support and Communication platform.

  • You’ll drive AI-first development approaches, identifying opportunities to automate and enhance customer support capabilities through intelligent systems and tooling.

  • Collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams, you will translate product requirements into scalable, well-architected solutions that balance innovation with pragmatism.

  • You will adopt a hands‑on approach as both a Developer and an Architect, spending approximately 80% of your time coding, while shaping technical decisions that span multiple applications and teams.

  • You will work across different CS systems initiatives, applying your expertise to solve domain‑wide challenges and ensuring consistent architectural principles across our portfolio.

  • You’ll mentor and collaborate with your peer Engineers and broader CS systems team, sharing architectural insights and fostering knowledge exchange across the organization.

  • You will establish best practices for AI‑driven development and help evaluate existing systems for modernization opportunities.

What you will need
  • You bring senior‑level experience with hands‑on AI coding, including Cursor, MCP usage, Claude Dev, and Vibe coding and you are excited to both share your knowledge and learn from others.

  • You bring extensive experience architecting and building large‑scale distributed systems with hands‑on coding involvement.

  • You bring experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and containerised deployments.

  • You are comfortable working with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Celery, Node.js and GraphQL in production environments.

  • You are an excellent communicator in the English language.

  • You bring experience working cross‑functionally with product managers, engineering teams and stakeholders to influence technical strategy.

  • You bring a pragmatic, product‑oriented mindset—you balance technical excellence with practical business needs and understand that good‑enough solutions often outweigh perfect ones.

  • You possess a self‑starter mentality, with the ability to independently own multiple projects and collaborate across different domains and teams.

  • You have foundational knowledge and genuine interest in AI and machine learning, with hands‑on experience applying AI concepts to real‑world development challenges.
