Formación

Responsabilidades

  • Record and classify accounting transactions in the general ledger.
  • Prepare and review balance sheets and financial statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage invoicing and collections.
  • Support tax declarations preparation.
  • Maintain accurate accounting documentation.
  • Collaborate with audits by providing required data.
  • Assist with financial forecasting and reporting.
  • Monitor inventories and fixed assets.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards.

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO company that is looking to recruit a Spanish speaking Accounting Specialist for their Barcelona office.

Base salary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Record and classify accounting transactions in the general ledger, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
  • Prepare and review balance sheets, financial statements, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and customer and supplier accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage invoicing, collections, and payments, ensuring correct VAT application and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Support the preparation of tax declarations, including VAT, income tax, and corporate tax.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting and financial documentation in both physical and digital formats.
  • Collaborate with internal and external audits by providing required accounting data and supporting documents.
  • Assist with financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
  • Monitor inventories and fixed assets, including relevant accounting entries and adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Native/F¡fluent in Spanish (C1) and advanced level of English (C1).
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive improvements.
  • Team-oriented approach with strong collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
