LiveOps Artist – YAHTZEE (Barcelona, hybrid)

Scopely is looking for a LiveOps Artist to join YAHTZEE in Barcelona on a hybrid basis working 3 days a week from the hub.

YAHTZEE is a casual free-to-play mobile game, a classic board game with a new look. The team is based in Europe and the US and works every day to create captivating new experiences for players.

What You Will Do

As the LiveOps Artist, you are the mastermind behind creating visually stunning and captivating designs for live game events, Interstitials, Offers, and promotional campaigns. You will deliver high-quality content that connects with and excites players, motivates active participation, and blends creativity with technical skill. Responsibilities include:

• Creating attractive visual compositions for different Interstitials (offers, news, icons, pop-ups, and promotional materials) to enhance player engagement
• Collaborating with UI Artists, developers and the Performance team to ensure consistency in visual language, messaging and branding across formats
• Adapting quickly to new requirements and making adjustments to compositions throughout the live ops cycle
• Optimizing UI features for readability, accessibility, and functionality to create a user-friendly experience
• Participating in iterative design processes, incorporating feedback from internal reviews
• Documenting design decisions, providing clear assets according to design briefs, and conveying ideas effectively to the team
• Keeping design assets organized and accessible for all team members
• Managing time to meet project milestones, deadlines, and production schedules while delivering high-quality designs
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends, design software and tools to bring fresh perspectives to projects

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years of experience creating artwork and designs for games in LiveOps
• Great skills in industry-standard tools such as Figma and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, UI, UX, and composition
• Experience in creating and implementing game content
• Great communication, collaboration and time management skills

Bonus Points

• Experience with implementation in Unity
