A leading European tech company seeks a Principal Product Designer to lead the user experience for a hybrid role in Germany. Responsible for defining UX strategies, conducting user research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in user-centred design and complex problem-solving skills. This position requires a digital portfolio for consideration.
Qualifications
- Experience leading end-to-end user experience for complex B2B applications.
- Proficient in mapping user journeys and designing information architectures.
- Expertise in validating designs through usability testing and A/B experiments.
Responsabilités
- Define UX strategies and frameworks for data-heavy tools.
- Conduct user research to uncover pain points.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams for design validation.

I’m partnered with a leading European tech company valued at €2.9B, hiring a Principal UX Designer.
You’ll lead end-to-end user experience for a platform that supports complex B2B workflows across desktop and mobile. This role focuses on understanding users, shaping interaction models, and aligning product decisions with real business impact. You’ll work closely with product, research, engineering and data science to define problems, validate hypotheses, and translate insights into scalable design solutions.
- Define UX strategies and frameworks for data-heavy tools, improving workflow efficiency and usability
- Conduct and synthesise user research with researchers and PMs to uncover pain points and inform prioritisation
- Map complex user journeys, design information architecture, and prototype intuitive interaction patterns
- Collaborate with product and engineering to validate designs through usability testing, metrics, and A / B experiments
- Contribute to a shared design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility (WCAG), and scalability across products
- Mentor designers on UX best practices, design thinking, and evidence-based decision making
