I am hiring a Junior SOC Analyst on behalf of an industry leading cyber security solution company specialising in providing innovative solutions and services across diverse sectors. • Contribute to the setup and ongoing enhancement of the Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Investigate security incidents and implement effective countermeasures.
• Utilise SOC tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and incident response solutions.
• Perform threat hunting by analysing and assessing security events on central platforms.
• Document incidents thoroughly in ticketing and SIEM systems, and generate detailed reports.
• Monitor systems for attacks or unusual behaviour and take appropriate action.
• Run automated vulnerability scans, interpret results, and report findings to clients.

This role is hybrid in Schleswig-Holstein.

• At least one year professional experience working in a SOC or similar role (working student is fine)
• Experience working with EDR/XDR
• Strong knowledge of IT networks and Operating Systems
• Basic knowledge of offensive security concepts
• Experience with programming languages e.g. Python, SQL
• Minimum C1 level German or above with a good knowledge of English

• Experience working with Sophos
• Incident response experience
• Experience with malware analysis
