The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. This includes ESS (Energy Storage System) & non-automotive applications. The ESS organization takes care of the upstream storage value chain. Our responsibility includes research, pre-development of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of ESS components & storages.

How you will CELLebrate

• Setup and further develop PowerCo ESS industrialization roadmap
• Planning, implementation and operation of PowerCo ESS industrialization strategy
• Managing a global production network with internal and external partners
• Set up a logistics network for inbound and outbound deliveries in alignment with headquarter functions
• Implement control processes according to legal requirements for transportation of dangerous goods
• Implement a supplier management system to set up a reliable supply chain for PowerCo ESS products

What you need for our CELLebration

• Completed studies in industrial engineering or comparable qualification
• Extensive experience in setting up and operating production/assembly systems
• Strong background and experience in quality management systems
• Experience in production of battery systems
• Experience in setting up and operating a supply chain management system
• Certifications in quality management systems and dangerous goods management
• Several years of management experience as well as building up new teams/organizations
• Fluent in German and English
• Willingness to travel
