• Lead the marketing and market analysis team in implementing all tasks and responsibilities of the SM team, which include the following services:
  • Corporate marketing
  • Product marketing for all business areas
  • Market information and market analysis across all business areas
  • Close and coordinated communication with team members and the department head, as well as with representatives of all other relevant EFW departments, including management, shareholders and partners.
  • Leadership of the operational team
  • Conception and strategic development of compelling marketing materials and campaigns, as well as market analysis
  • Strategic alignment of market analyses, databases and appropriate targeted market development
  • Complex alignment of conditions and requirements set by multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Supervision of team members with regard to the scope, quality and timeliness of their work, as well as management of appropriate corrective measures

• Professional and disciplinary management of employees in accordance with internal management guidelines to ensure all departmental tasks are performed
• Planning and coordination of the division of labour within the department and the short- and long-term deployment of staff
• Planning and implementation of necessary training measures and holiday planning
• Promotion of the individual development of all departmental employees
• Ensuring high performance and motivation of employees through appropriate leadership behaviour
• Conducting performance appraisals and disciplinary measures
• Ensuring compliance with all legal and internal regulations as well as occupational safety, environmental and fire safety regulations

• Planning and adhering to the cost centre budget

• Conception, implementation and execution of the EFW marketing strategy
• Definition and maintenance of the corporate design (EFW CICD manual)
• Management of marketing activities for various EFW corporate initiatives
• Management of the planning and implementation of EFW marketing events
• Ensuring the development of marketing materials, brochures, competitions, videos, etc.

• Developing the product marketing strategy and marketing materials for all business areas and in collaboration with them
• Managing all marketing activities for all product lines, from generic product marketing to targeted marketing to support sales campaigns
• Ensuring a coordinated marketing approach within the EFW Group by expanding and utilising the network with the marketing teams at Airbus and STEA and requesting their support when necessary

• Management and responsibility for providing information on market trends, regulatory developments, economic indicators, geopolitical influences, and analysis of fleets, routes and commodities to support marketing and sales campaigns
• Managing and being responsible for providing market and competitive analysis to the business units to support the identification and capture of new and existing business Ensuring a framework for market forecasts and potential for all EFW business units and ensuring continuous updates
• Ensuring the identification and use of relevant data from external sources (including Airbus and STEA) to support marketing and sales campaigns
• Utilising a network of Airbus and STEA partners to obtain relevant market inputs, product information, etc.

• A fully harmonised marketing and communications approach that is closely aligned with corporate communications

• Completed 4-year university degree in marketing, business administration or business informatics, business mathematics, statistics
• Many years of experience in managing multifunctional teams
• Many years of experience in marketing, sales and/or market analysis
• Expertise in commercial aviation standards

• Leadership qualities, assertiveness, negotiating skills, empathy, communication skills, openness, problem-solving skills, team orientation and motivation

• Intercultural skills, resilience, commitment, flexibility, willingness to learn, self-discipline, self-motivation, self-organisation, self-reflection, self-confidence, sense of responsibility, reliability, strong creativity

• Broad basic knowledge, interdisciplinary thinking, confident written and spoken German, written and spoken English for management and negotiation, preferably other languages, very good MS Office and SAP skills

• Analytical and critical thinking, ability to argue a case, solution-oriented approach, media competence, communication and presentation techniques, project management, organisational skills
• Regular travel worldwide
• Handling of confidential documents

• Experience in working on aircraft
• Knowledge in dealing with work orders, parts lists
• Knowledge of quality standards
• Presence of the prerequisites for aviation security background check ( 7 Luftsicherheitsgesetz (LuftSiG)
