Responsibilities
  • Lead the marketing and market analysis team in implementing all tasks and responsibilities of the SM team, which include the following services:
    • Corporate marketing
    • Product marketing for all business areas
    • Market information and market analysis across all business areas
    • Close and coordinated communication with team members and the department head, as well as with representatives of all other relevant EFW departments, including management, shareholders and partners.
    • Leadership of the operational team
    • Conception and strategic development of compelling marketing materials and campaigns, as well as market analysis
    • Strategic alignment of market analyses, databases and appropriate targeted market development
    • Complex alignment of conditions and requirements set by multiple internal and external stakeholders
    • Supervision of team members with regard to the scope, quality and timeliness of their work, as well as management of appropriate corrective measures

Management
  • Professional and disciplinary management of employees in accordance with internal management guidelines to ensure all departmental tasks are performed
  • Planning and coordination of the division of labour within the department and the short- and long-term deployment of staff
  • Planning and implementation of necessary training measures and holiday planning

  • Ensuring high performance and motivation of employees through appropriate leadership behaviour
  • Conducting performance appraisals and disciplinary measures

Corporate marketing
  • Conception, implementation and execution of the EFW marketing strategy
  • Definition and maintenance of the corporate design (EFW CICD manual)
  • Management of marketing activities for various EFW corporate initiatives
  • Management of the planning and implementation of EFW marketing events
  • Ensuring the development of marketing materials, brochures, competitions, videos, etc.
Product marketing
  • Developing the product marketing strategy and marketing materials for all business areas and in collaboration with them
  • Managing all marketing activities for all product lines, from generic product marketing to targeted marketing to support sales campaigns
  • Ensuring a coordinated marketing approach within the EFW Group by expanding and utilising the network with the marketing teams at Airbus and STEA and requesting their support when necessary
Market intelligence & analysis
  • Management and responsibility for providing information on market trends, regulatory developments, economic indicators, geopolitical influences, and analysis of fleets, routes and commodities to support marketing and sales campaigns
  • Managing and being responsible for providing market and competitive analysis to the business units to support the identification and capture of new and existing business Ensuring a framework for market forecasts and potential for all EFW business units and ensuring continuous updates
  • Ensuring the identification and use of relevant data from external sources (including Airbus and STEA) to support marketing and sales campaigns
  • Utilising a network of Airbus and STEA partners to obtain relevant market inputs, product information, etc.
