KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HDF Energy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Developer to oversee our projects in Australia region. The business developer's responsibilities include supporting the Australia team in developing hydrogen projects, mainly for power application, contributing to initiating, accelerating project development and exploring partnerships angles with local players.

This position will report directly to the APAC Director and is expected to commence as early as possible in Q3 2025. The role must be based in one of the following locations: Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane Australia.

Main Missions:

• Coordinate the discussion on potential Renewstable (renewables with battery and hydrogen) solutions for captive applications in sectors such as mining, isolated networks, manufacturing and other relevant industries
• Prioritize captive power solutions within the mining sector
• Provide support for development initiatives in the Pacific region as required
• Represent HDF Energy at relevant events and engagements

Qualifications:

• At least hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business development
• Have at least 5 year working experiences in the power sector
• Experience working with stakeholders in the mining sector is required
• Strong communication and liaison skills with the energy sector stakeholders
• Autonomy and proactivity
• Understanding of project management and business processes within the power sector is essential
