Job summary
A logistics company in Germany is seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist to manage and configure the EWM Warehouse Structure and oversee stock movements. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of inbound and outbound processes, handling unit management, and physical inventory. Familiarity with cross docking and deconsolidation, as well as cross-functional insights in MM, QM, and SD, is required for this role. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to enhance warehouse efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Configure EWM Warehouse Structure, Storage Types and Storage bins.
- Configuration of Warehouse Process types, warehouse capacity and warehouse order creation rules.
- Process knowledge of Inbound and Outbound process in warehouse.
- Knowledge on handling unit management & packaging specification.
- Monitor stock movements, execute stock placements and removals using different put away, picking strategies.
- Physical inventory process of EWM.
- Cross functional knowledge on MM, QM and SD.
- Knowledge on cross docking and deconsolidation.
