Functional Safety Engineer (m/f/d)

Onsite / Hybrid / Remote: Remote (> 50% remote)

• Develop technical solutions related to functional safety in collaboration with specialist departments
• Create safety functions and documentation for functional safety
• Test the implementation of safety functions (hardware and software)
• Evaluate hardware and software solutions according to safety standards
• Calculate Safety Integrity Level (SIL) and Performance Level (PL)
• Consult with external experts and authorities

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field with relevant experience
• Knowledge of ISO 13849, IEC 61508, and ISO 12100 (risk assessment)
• Experience with industrial control systems and technical concepts
• Strong goal-oriented and solution-focused assertiveness
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in technical and business English
• Functional Safety Engineer certification according to ISO 13849 is a plus
