We are looking for an engineer who combines technical expertise with the drive and adaptability required in a startup environment:

• Several years of professional or research experience in flight dynamics, GNC, or related fields.
• Strong background in flight control theory, trajectory optimization, and dynamic system modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex research and engineering problems.
• Excellent analytical skills and a creative, solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong programming skills (MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python) and modeling/simulation experience.
• Proficiency in English and German (spoken and written).
• Proactive, motivated, flexible, and resilient, with strong teamwork and communication skills.

As a GNC Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, simulation, and implementation of advanced guidance, navigation, and control systems for next‑generation drones, hypersonic vehicles, and spaceplanes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Design and analysis of GNC subsystems for air‑breathing UAVs, hypersonic gliders, and orbital spaceplanes.
• Trajectory simulation, optimization, and mission analysis for complex flight profiles.
• Development of nonlinear 6DOF flight dynamic models.
• Creation of mathematical models for physical subsystems (aerodynamics, sensors, actuators, propulsion).
• Flight control algorithm design, coding, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop/testing implementation on flight control hardware.
• Support in the selection, integration, and verification of GNC sensors and components.
• Participation in ground and flight test campaigns, including test planning, execution, and data analysis.
