We are keen on hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) to productionise machine-learning models, implement services, and help grow our data science infrastructure. By being part of the Marketplace department, you will work closely with our Product Managers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Software Engineers and other Machine Learning Engineers to enable our business to make even smarter and more efficient pricing decisions.

• Designing and developing high-performance, data-driven systems in a distributed infrastructure to determine the best pricing offers to our passengers and drivers and achieve a balanced marketplace.
• Working with large, interesting data sets including historical, real-time and third-party data streams.
• Exposing machine learning models and data pipelines via resilient and performant APIs.
• Implementing and optimizing solutions to some of our most business critical problems as part of a cross functional team consisting of Data and Software Engineering professionals.
• Enhancing the Data Science Software infrastructure in close collaboration with a diverse group of Data experts.
• Maintaining, improving and monitoring mature CI/CD pipelines in our testing and production environments.
• Championing best practices across the organization and fostering an environment of growth and technical excellence

Our Tech Stack: SQL| Python | Airflow | Java | Kubernetes | Kafka Streams| AWS & more

• You are experienced training, deploying, serving and monitoring Statistical/Machine Learning models on large-scale datasets in production.
• You have experience with streaming technologies and real-time data processing
• You excel as an effective communicator, a team player, and an avid learner, with a proven capacity to collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams, including those in data, tech, and product, as well as other stakeholders.
• Experience with data manipulation and machine learning libraries
• You have experience developing and maintaining microservices in a production environment
• You can communicate in English. We are a very diverse team with people from all over the world and English is our language of communication, besides Python.
• You are passionate about harnessing data science and have the will to play an essential role in the future of urban transportation.
