Land Acquisition Manager – BESS Developer
Job summary
An international BESS developer seeks a Land Acquisition Manager to lead site origination in North Rhine-Westphalia. Responsibilities include securing land for projects and negotiating agreements. - Identify, assess, and secure suitable land for BESS projects
- Negotiate lease or purchase agreements with landowners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, and local stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal technical and development teams to evaluate site feasibility
- Report progress and performance metrics tied to land secured (bonus eligible)
- Proven experience in land acquisition (ideally in renewable energy, real estate, or infrastructure)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Familiarity with North North Rhine‑Westphalia land markets
- German fluency required; English a plus
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Salary up to €70,000 + performance-based bonus
