We are seeking a highly skilled Cell Engineer to join our team and lead pursuit engineering activities for our automotive energy solutions. This customer-facing role requires a dynamic individual with experience in complex systems and the ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities: What you will do
- Support pursuit engineering activities for automotive low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors.
- Collaborate with automotive customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored modeling solutions.
- Conduct cell-level analysis, testing, modeling, and simulation to ensure compliance with customer requirements, automotive standards, and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with the cross-functional engineering team to select the appropriate cell to meet all customer requirements, including performance and packaging.
- Work with internal and external suppliers to identify the correct cell for a given application.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of modeling solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: What we look for
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.
- Strong understanding of low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors.
- Experience with complex systems and automotive customers.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
- Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in both German and English.
