Our client is an international technology company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality software solutions across sectors such as Energy, Transport, Aerospace, Finance, and Defence. The company is currently expanding its presence in the DACH region. To support this growth, they are seeking a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to join their Digital Engineering Services business unit.
This unit specializes in Banking & Financial Services, Manufacturing, and has strong delivery capabilities and experience in other sectors such as Telecom and Insurance.
What will be your tasks?
- Within the Banking & Financial Services industry, generate new leads and business opportunities, engage with, create, and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
- Stay up to date by attending industry events, understanding and anticipating market trends, and leveraging social media platforms like LinkedIn.
- Identify, qualify, and manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Manage your tasks autonomously, with support from your Business Development Director.
- Assist in writing compelling proposals to attract customers and close deals.
- Manage targeted campaigns in collaboration with the Business Development and Business Enablement teams.
- Think strategically and tactically.
What do we expect from you?
- Strong background in Banking & Financial Services with proven experience in the sector.
- Experience in business development activities, including developing bespoke solutions and delivering digital transformation projects within the industry.
- Understanding or interest in Software Engineering challenges and projects.
- A consultative style with good negotiation skills to develop meaningful relationships.
- Excellent written and spoken English and German skills, with the ability to understand, formulate, and present functional and technical requirements clearly.
- Willingness to occasionally travel within and outside the EU.
