Are you ready to dive into numbers and drive success? As General Ledger Accountant, you will support accurate, timely, and policy‑compliant accounting as well as direct and indirect tax reporting for RECKITT entities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Your day‑to‑day includes preparing monthly and annual VAT declarations, supporting in the preparation of annual statutory accounts (based on German GAAP) as well as preparing monthly group reporting under IFRS. Ensure accurate and timely monthly/quarterly/year end reporting, producing the annual accounts for various companies in DACH and providing financial information to Corporate Headquarters with:

• Hyperion (HFM) reporting to Corporate Headquarters (IFRS reporting based on RECKITT group guidelines)
• Support statutory accounting under German, Austrian and Swiss GAAP
• Support for internal and external audits
• Support tax filing for federal and state returns as well as for VAT
• Proactive support of finance projects to enhance accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
• Support statistical reporting
• Treasury Management
• Insurance Management
• Support tasks performed by internal/external service providers
• Finance projects

An everyday focus on working towards the achievement of business objectives, e.g. NWC improvement.

• Certified management accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or comparable education
• Experience with audits and auditing
• Around 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing
• Ideally experience working in tax advisory or audit company

• Very good knowledge in SAP (or a comparable ERP system)
• German tax knowledge
• Very good knowledge of MS‑Office, especially Excel
• Good or advanced debtor/creditor accounting skills

• Fluent in German (writing and speaking)
• High degree of fluency in English (writing and speaking)

• University degree or equivalent, focus on accounting and tax
